The 33rd Annual Robin Hood Festival is back on 31st July – 6th August and just down the road from us. We are back to normal on Monday 26th June and will look forward to seeing our regulars back to see us.
The Village Kitchen is just opposite the famous church where Robin Hood and Maid Marion were said to be married and the festival is set within the magical setting of Sherwood Forest. Pop in for a coffee or afternoon tea on your visit to the Robin Hood Festival.
The FREE fun filled week-long festival has something for all ages, with lots of entertainment and activities.
They will be welcoming back a host of costumed characters and entertainers that have been making the festival a truly fantastic experience for all these years!
No Jousting and Falconry displays: -This year they will not be having the Jousting and Falconry displays, due to building work taking place on site for the new Visitor Centre. The location for the arena setting won’t be accessible and for safety reasons it wouldn’t be suitable to run.
The Legends Team will still be entertaining you all at the festival and will be having more skirmishes in and around the Major Oak!
