A latte is creamier and mixed with mostly steamed milk. A cappuccino has equal parts espresso, steamed milk, and a thick layer of frothed foam, providing a stronger coffee flavour.
Latte: Has a smoother, milder, and sweeter taste because the large amount of steamed milk dilutes the bold espresso.
Cappuccino: Has a much stronger, more robust coffee flavor because there is less milk to dilute the espresso. The thick layer of foam also makes it feel heavier on the palate.
