- Dry store food like flour, nuts, dried fruit, spices, granola, cereal and bread in an airtight container.
- Treat your herbs like they were a flower by removing plastic wrapping, standing them in an inch of water, and storing them in your fridge.
- Store your root vegetables out of the fridge in a dark, cool cupboard or canvas bag.
- Remove all the packaging from vegetables so they do not sweat.
- Store lettuce leaves in a container with kitchen paper to suck up moisture.
- Keep bananas away from other fruit as they will ripen the other fruit.
- Keep apples, berries and pears in the fridge as they will last much longer.
