It’s not just London food eateries that have urban gardens going on at the back of the kitchen. We also grow some of our own produce at The Village Kitchen.
The greatest advantage of us growing our own is the freshness you get when you pick them half an hour before they are served. As the old saying goes, ‘nothing tastes as good as home grown vegetables’.
We have roasted vegetable couscous , part of our everyday salad counter which is made with the vegetables grown in our courtyard.
