DO YOU KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A FRUIT AND A VEGETABLE?..

Chef’s say quite different things to scientists on this subject.
Botanically speaking, a fruit is the seed- bearing structure that develops from the ovary of a flowering plant.

This is why tomatoes, cucumbers, and even pumpkins are technically speaking fruits.

A vegetable, in botanical terms, refers to any other edible part of a plant, such as roots (carrots), stems (celery), or leaves (lettuce).
