ORGANIC SEPTEMBER…

Organic September is a month-long campaign to raise awareness of the many benefits of organic food and farming, which include:

Supporting biodiversity and wildlife

Helping to combat climate change

The highest standards of animal welfare

Reduced exposure to pesticides

Food as it should be, and food you can trust

In the face of climate change, diet related ill-health and widespread decline in wildlife, the need to change our food systems has never been greater.

By joining the growing movement for nature-friendly farming next month, you can help to build a greener future that has sustainable food at its heart.

Why Organic? – No other defined system of farming and food production comes close to delivering such a breadth of benefits.

By working with nature, our collective actions all add up to make a world of difference. There are so many ways you can be part of the organic movement for a more sustainable future this month.

Transforming our relationship to our food systems and the natural world starts at home. Growing your own nature-friendly food at home can put us back in touch with where our food comes from, and improve local habitats for wildlife too!

Sign up to the Soil Association receive our regular emails, and be part of the movement for change. They will send you news about their campaigns for better food and farming, and practical tips on how you can make small changes to live in a more sustainable way. Together, we can make a big difference.
